Two years ago, we had recurring problems with our Verizon routers at our church and spent hours on the phone with Verizon support. We hired Groveton resident, Matthew Porcaro, who owns Avatar Tech, 202-631-6440, www.avatartech-llc.com. He replaced the Verizon router and extender, set everything up, made sure the firmware was updated, security and password were configured, etc. We have not had any further problems. We were skeptical about not using Verizon equipment, but trusted Matthew and he got it resolved. He know IT & AV–computers, wireless, phone, TV. We highly recommend him. —Bonnie on NextDoor

Matthew helped us sort through some home networking problems on a new house my wife and I had moved into. There were numerous challenges here, which Matthew solved with some inventive solutions. He did terrific work, stuck his original estimate and timeline, and had us up and running quickly. I would highly recommend Matthew and Avatar for any residential or commercial IT challenges! —Josh on LinkedIn

I also thought the installation process was professionally executed and the external hardware to be visually non-invasive. —Joe via email
